Brewing success at our AGM

We recently held the first of our annual AGMs

Hosted at the amazing Kachette venue in Old Street, London. Our AGMs always have a foodie element to them, and this year, we once again combined the business update element of the AGM with our Coffee Carnival.

A Gathering of the #BMFamily

Bringing people together is one of the key reasons that we host AGMs. Managers and senior chefs from across the #bmfamily gather to get a picture of how we are doing as a business, what our key focuses and recent successes are, and to meet suppliers and get to know one another better.

Celebrating Recent Successes

This year, we highlighted our recent successes in contract retention, underscoring the importance of great client relationships and consistent delivery of high service levels and food quality. Retention of current business is crucial for our business stability and helps to cement our reputation as a reliable partner.

Financial Forecast and Growth

We provided a financial forecast, showing that we are not only back to pre-Covid turnover levels but are also continuing to grow both organically and through new contract wins. This growth offers greater opportunities for career advancement for our team members.

Reflecting on Key Highlights

We looked back at some of the key highlights over the past six months since our last AGM. There were many successes to celebrate, including the recent Be Heard survey results, which were the highest we have ever achieved at BM. These results show that our team members overwhelmingly view BM as an outstanding company to work for.

The Coffee Carnival

The Coffee Carnival element of the AGM allowed some of our suppliers to showcase their products and new innovations. Additionally, our amazing team of Popup Pioneers provided fabulous food for attendees to sample. The event culminated with the announcement of our 2024 BMBC finalists and the crowning of this year’s winner.
