Chive Butter Paratha
The perfect accompaniment to so many dishes! This paratha is cheap and easy to make.
Method
- Add all ingredients into a bowl and mix into a shaggy dough
- Line a mixing bowl with oil and place the dough into the oiled bowl
- Cover with clingfilm and refrigerate overnight
- Split the cold dough into 4
- Oil your surface and roll each paratha into 6inch wide disks
- Layer 1tbs butter onto the dough
- Cut from the centre out to the side of the dough and roll it over itself in triangle shapes. Fold the last piece of dough into itself to form a ball shape
- Flour your countertop and roll each paratha out into 6 inch wide disks again
- Lightly oil a nonstick pan and put on medium heat
- Cook each paratha for a couple of minutes on each side till golden brown
