Japanese Milk Loaf Bread

Ingredients

2kg strong white flour

40g salt

200g caster sugar

240g butter (at room temperature)

120g fresh yeast

1200g milk
Method
Mix Ingredients: Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Knead: Knead the mixture for 12 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Prove: Allow the dough to prove (rise) in a warm place until it has doubled in size.
Shape: Once proved, shape the dough into loaves or your desired bread shape.
Bake: Preheat your oven to 200°C. Bake the loaves for 25-30 minutes or until they are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Cool: Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
