Operations Director
As Operations Director for our regional business, I’m always striving to provide a dynamic, energised environment where my team feel motivated and excited to achieve the very best results every day. It’s important to me to gain people’s trust, so we can work together to innovate, find cost efficiencies and keep improving – and I do this simply by being open and honest with everyone.
I’ve been with BM for over eight years, starting as operations manager before a recent promotion to Operations Director. In total, I have over 35 years’ hospitality experience, ranging from high-end hotels to high-street food retail, in the UK and US, and I still draw on the skills I’ve learnt over the decades.
When I’m eating out, I can’t help judging the food and service from my own professional viewpoint. One place I’ve been particularly impressed by recently is Florence, Italy. There are so many great restaurants there, offering beautifully simple pasta dishes using superb local ingredients, as well as world-class steaks cooked to perfection – all accompanied by lovely wines.
